If you have a chance to visit Green Bay, do. Especially if you are a fan of NFL football (and no, you don't have to be a fan of GB in order to enjoy it... a friend of mine that is a life long Chicago bear fan was brought to tears in the Lombardi trophy room). I worked in GB for a couple of years, and Krolls on the west side was a common lunch destination. Another great blue collar lunch spot/bar is the Drift Inn (http://www.driftinnchili.com/our-menu/) cheap but good burgers and 5 way chili.

I live 1/2 hour from Krolls and have had the burgers all through my lifetime. They are very simple and some don't get why all the fuss, but the taste is awesome. A few raw onions, the butter, the toasted bun - now I'm hungry again!
